On October 2nd we had two group visits at the Shrine. First the Girl Scouts from St. Margaret of Scotland Parish came for a visit and a talk given by Mike Scully, Director of the Shrine. The girls explored the Grottos and ended their morning in the Shrine Gift Shop. The second group to visit that day were youth groups from Holy Infant in Ballwin and Queen of All Saints in Oakville. They volunteered their time by doing some much needed weeding around the Grottos and some painting at Pilgrims Rest and the walk way to the Nativity Grotto. We really appreciated their efforts to beautify the Shrine! On October 21st the seventh graders from Assumption parish in O’Fallon visited. They were given a full guided tour of the Shrine and talk by our director, Mike Scully. They ate lunch in the pavilion, visited the gift shop and took a hike in the surrounding area.
